Spring Rituals: Clay & Reflection at Bodē
As the season shifts toward spring, we’re opening the studio for a special collaboration that blends creativity, reflection, and mindful making.
At the start of the year, many of us set intentions, formed new habits, and began small rituals that shape our days. This intimate workshop invites you to pause and reflect on what has been quietly taking root — and to gently shape what you want to carry forward into the new season.
Guided through a calming hand-building process, you’ll create your own clay trinket tray — a simple yet meaningful piece designed to hold jewellery, keepsakes, or the small daily objects that accompany your rituals. As your hands shape the clay, you’ll have space to reflect on the rhythms that ground you and the intentions you wish to nurture as spring unfolds.
Working with clay is not only creative — it is deeply restorative. Studies in art therapy and occupational science show that tactile activities like claymaking can:
• Reduce stress and lower cortisol levels
• Improve mood and emotional regulation
• Support mindfulness and present-moment awareness
• Enhance fine motor coordination and sensory integration
• Encourage creative flow states that promote mental clarity and relaxation
Held near the Spring Equinox, a time long associated with renewal and emergence, this gathering offers a moment to honour what is blooming within you — moving forward with intention rather than urgency.
No experience is needed — just come as you are.
All materials are thoughtfully provided at Bodē Movement.
We can’t wait to gather, create, and welcome the new season together.
Reserve your spot.
